Greens Calculator of misinformation

ABC Electoral Analyst, Antony Green';s calculator is once again providing false and misleading information.  Green has Stephen Mayne winning the converted fifth seat in Northern Metropolitan.

Green who makes an assumption that the below-the-line preference votes will follow the party ticket has failed to apply the same logic and assessment to independent Adrian Whitehead,  In fact Antony Green has left poor Adrian off the list all together.  Green claims that Whitehead will not effect the outcome of the election.  This may be the case but why has he left him out.  If you can make the assumption that all other below-the-line preferences will follow the general direction of the Party ticket why not included Whiteheads ticket?

Whitehead currently has 277 (Earlier counts had him over 350) votes all of which scrutineers say follow his ticket  and preference the Greens then exhaust under Victoria's optional preferential voting rules. It is unknown how many Party Below-the-line will also exhaust and what impact that will have on the count.

It would be more professional for Green to include Whiteheads vote in his analysis so that all players were treated equally.

Currently Antony Green has Stephen Mayne on 5088 votes and the Greens just below on 4747 votes.  if you add to that Whiteheads vote vote the results are much closer.  Greenslade be less defensive and more professional in his assessment by including Whitehead results, Instead of having his mates come to his defence of the indefensible. Thank god he is not a scientist or an investment banker.
